Photo editing isn't cheating; it's a creative tool that allows us to unlock the full potential of our images.
In the case of "Starry Night," editing will allow us to enhance color nuances, accentuate the brilliance of the stars, and correct any flaws caused by light pollution or camera settings.
For this tutorial, we'll primarily use the modules offered by photo editing software. I'm working with darktable, but you'll be able to achieve the same results with Lightroom, Capture One, or other programs, as we'll only be using tools to adjust shadows and highlights, exposure, color contrast, and the RGB primary color space.
