Autostitch allows us to stitch our future panoramas very efficiently; the stitching quality of a panorama is crucial for creating beautiful images. I conducted several tests with files of varying complexity to see how different open-source programs performed—software that won't cost you anything. The two programs that caught my attention are Hugin, the most comprehensive open-source option, and Autostitch, which is surprisingly easy to use and delivers high-quality results.
