Direct experience of a doctor who became the patient. I met this lady at the 14th Symposium "Behind and Beyond the Brain" and she brought an interesting story.
It made me reflect on how we perceive our humanity and interact with others in relation to our roles in society.
Do we refrain from interacting simply because we don't know what to do or say? To what extent does this limit our empathy?
