This was the easiest way to remove the makeup and prosthetic creature suit - TAKE A SHOWER.
There was so much METHOCEL fluid left on the demon from the time he was submerged in the tank during the shoot, that it was impossible to remove the makeup because he was so slippery. We had to literally wash off all the METHOCEL first before attempting to remove the make-up.
METHOCEL - Food grade is a hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. It is a water-soluble, high-purity, non-ionic cellulose ether. Methocel products are used as thickeners, binders, film formers, and water retention agents.
