This beautiful yet rarely heard composition by Isidor Bajić is from his collection of songs "Seljančice" ("Сељанчице") based on the works of renowned Serbian poet Milorad Petrović Seljančica. The lyrics of the song are from Seljančica's famous poem "Moj dilbere" (Мој дилбере). The recording was made before WWI by violin virtuoso, vocalist, and band leader Joca Mimika, from the town of Mol, in Vojvodina, Serbia.
