Eberlestock Cherry Bomb S25
A look at my second Eberlestock backpack, the S25 Cherry Bomb.
I was looking for a bag to carry my AR pistol in and stumbled across the S25, needless to say, I was very happy to find it because I love my Eberlestock Gunslinger pack.
Knowing that the quality is superb from my other pack I searched the very few reviews that I could find on this one and waited almost a year for a good sale price before I spent so much on the pack- let's face it, it's getting harder to spend $200+ on a pack these days with the poor economy, if I hadn't have already owned the gunslinger and hadn't already been so impressed by its quality I would've just ended up using a tennis racket cover or a duffle bag; I'm glad that I didn't because this pack is awesome.
It'd be nice if it was a touch bigger so that I could haul more stuff around but worry not, they make a slightly larger version of it. I bought mine to be more of a holster than a day bag so I went with the smaller model, it still fits some extra food, light coat, phone, and EDC items with room to spare, just can't pack my winter coat into it with the gun in its pocket. All in all it's about perfect for what I wanted with the only drawback being that I wish that they'd have made the "public" compartment larger and reduced the gun pocket to more of, well, just a gun pocket. That way I wouldn't ever have to keep anything that I might need in the gun pocket that I don't want to open in public, it's not a big inconvenience but it does happen.
