The Axe is one of our oldest tools. Thousands of years old, and we still use and respect it, but for its versatility, and its potential to seriously hurt us. It's one of the most dangerous tools in a handtool woodshop, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't use it, just that you should be aware of ways to stay safe.
