Recorded on PCem V16 (8086 - 8 MHz, 640 KB, VGA).
(Demo no longer has a MOD player, it was too slow on the 8086).
This is a "port" of cute demo for Game Boy Color.
Nothing special in this demo, except it works on an 8086!. My first PC was an 8086 8MHz, and I wanted to know if it could show cute things using a VGA card.
Scrolling should be 100% smooth on a real 8086 according to my tests (real 386, ao486-fpga set to very slow speed, dosbox-ece set to 360 cycles, PCem set to 8086). But I just could not record better than this, because of the way windows and PCem work, there are some small jumps when scrolling.
Also the music is a bit off, because it is a rad module (50Hz) and I had to convert it to 60Hz, so that I could play it in sync with the 320x240@60Hz VGA vertical retrace.
