Sotol Forest
The Old Buzzards have pedaled every trail in the Franklin Mountains in El Paso. We have pedaled almost every trail in Las Cruces and Dona Ana in the Organ Mountains. We have pedaled almost every trail in Cloudcroft and Ruidoso in the Sacramento Mountains. Sotol Forest, the trail featured in this video is my absolute favorite trail in all of these areas. It transports me every time and I imagine I am riding in Sedona or Moab with the chunk and beautiful red rocks. At the age of 61, I am not sure why I am drawn to difficult technical trails, but I am, and I love them! I love Newman, Muleshoe, Agave Loop and Ana's, but Sotol Forest is my favorite.
