They took 76 Bighorn Sheep from near Alpine Texas and relocated them to the Franklin Mountains of El Paso. The population there has dropped due to disease from the Barbary Sheep, AKA Aoudads. Since we don't have Aoudads, these Bighorn Sheep should thrive. We had them around the turn of the century, but they were hunting to extinction. Now with the State Park and no hunting, they should thrive.
