After surgery, your incisions need time to heal without getting wet. It is really unpleasant not to be able to shower for a week or more. Recovery from surgery is much faster when you feel better, and showering is a big help.
This video demonstrates a way to cover your bandages and incisions after surgery so you can shower without getting them wet. I have my patients do this, and they feel great much sooner. It's easy and really inexpensive.
