The KAT® Automation Carriage can be used for both welding and cutting. In this application we see a bevel cut being made using the Oxy Fuel cutting process. The KAT® travels along the rigid track using a rack and pinion drive system and maintains the set speed during the entire cutting process.
The thickness of the steel is 90mm and you will see at the end of the video the cut which is made is of high quality and consistency.
