How to fix Thin Walls Error/Missing Perimeters in Bambu Slicer for Paragami Coral Sponge
Hi, if you’re struggling with generating perimeters in your Bambu slicer for thin walls of Coral Sponge, try these tweaks.
First, enable Advanced settings. Then set:
• Wall generator: Arachne
This seems to be the key. 😉 For further enhancement, set:
• Minimum Wall Width: 20%
• Minimum Feature Size: 50%
These are suggested settings; however, if you discover better settings, please share with us!
Every slicer has different settings and names for the functions. You can also try:
• Enable "Detect Thin Walls"
• Reduce Extrusion Width for Perimeters & External Perimeters (e.g., 0.45mm to 0.3mm)
• Tilt blocks and enable supports, ensuring the problematic wall is on a slope for a wider profile
• Set Seam Start Position to random
• X-Y contour compensation: +0.34mm
