Crowdrender is free software for making a render farm from any computers you have available on a network. You can significantly reduce render times by using many computers to render both a still image and animations.
The addon currently supports blender 2.80 and previous versions such as 2.79b and 2.78. Windows 64 bit, Linux 64 bit and MacOS are supported.
This latest update provides better stability, fixes bugs and also supports multiple scenes in blender. You can now render more than one scene at once across multiple machines and have the results pass through Blender's compositor during the render, providing the final production images/frames you need without having to do a separate render and composite later on.
