Piers Gaveston Cross - Hidden On (Haunted?) Blacklow Hill Warwickshire
Piers Gaveston was executed on Blacklow Hill in 1312. Hidden in the woods this cross still remains in fairly good condition, marking the position of his death.
Rumours are the hill is haunted, certainly would not want to go there at night to find out :)
Discovered this by accident in the 80's, amazing to stumble upon it, land is private now so please ask permission before visiting.
