Ecosystem Services (English)
Biodiversity affects the well-being of society through the provision of ecosystem services. Ecosystem services are provided by the environment for free and include: the provision of food and raw materials, climate and water regulation, pollination, and recreation. Changes to ecosystems can affect the quality of our lives if ecosystem functions and services are altered.
