Terry Stapleton, Ralph Nader, and Gray Brechin agree that the Postal Service was the only universal mail delivery service to every address in America, without discrimination. Stapleton states that the Postal Service was founded based on a premise to provide a service to all American people no matter where they live, that is was a universal service in the first place. Nader shares that the Postal Service cannot discriminate the bad parts of the city just because there is no money there. Brechin points out the major difference between the postal and other businesses is how the postal must do things that a business won’t, even if it’s not profitable for the government.
