William Anderson, Sue Knost, Mary Burkhard, and Victoria Davila recall their time working at the postal as Sales Representatives, where they had to play the tricks to bring in revenue, even if it meant fabricating big sales number. Davila shares that there used to be a mandate by the postal that Sales Representatives bring in $100,000 new revenue every month. This mandate led to many of Davila’s colleagues to be reporting $100,000, $500,000, $700,000, $1,000,000 sales. Knost adds that the requirement started to create the favoritism, “better geographic territories, the better customers. All of the things that would make your job easier if you played the game.”
