Fall fishing can be tough but once you figure out where the fish are moving, it can be some of the best fishing you'll have all year.

It was an amazing trip on the lake, ups and downs in weather didn't stop us from getting on some really good fishing. It did take some work to find the fish but once we did we were catch one after the other.

Having a basic fish finder/sonar is all you need in these situations. I use a Garmin striker 4 one of the more affordable on the market BUT it went up in smoke half way through our trip... Luckily we knew where the fish were and still caught decent numbers.

The dropshot and a minnow produced the most bites by far. Here's I set it up:
3/8 dropshot weight (ball)
8-12lbs fluorocarbon leader (suffix adv.)
1/0 Octopus Hook (gamakatsu)
Live Minnow (shinner)

We got to put my new Anker Solix power station to the test, I really wanted to see how it handled high watt appliances and it came through. This thing is going to be amazing trips off the grid and for emergency power outage situations.

This is my 2nd upload since I've committed to doing weekly long form video uploads. Can't wait to continue this trend and improve my video and editing skills along the way!
