Riding The Bobcat at Six Flags Great Escape 2024!

We're back this year at Six Flags Great Escape and it's to ride the brand new roller coaster The Bobcat. Designed by the Gravity Group, this family wooden coaster offered a lot of fun pops of ejector and mild laterals. This roller coaster had me smiling from ear to ear the entire time. I do wish the day I visited that they had had both trains running since one train only allows 12 riders at a time. This lead to a pretty healthy line by the time I was done riding. I wish I could've gotten a few more rides in but what can you do!
I know everyone says "It's a good fit for the park." but this is probably where it applies the most. Replacing the Alpine Bobsled, it offers about the same amount of thrills while also being much more reliable and being a solid stepping stone to riding the more thrilling wooden coaster Comet.
All and all, I'm glad to see Six Flags Great Escape get its very own new coaster that isn't a hand me down from another park and I hope to see more investment made in the future!
