Meet Dave, arguably the best fly fishing guide in the Valley! On his day off you’ll find him right back at it staying in touch with the local rivers and prepping for his next group of clients. We must also give our friend Amber some credit for a great scoop on the net! This was an epic day in between trips. The weather was good and the fishing was on fire!!
Let me tell you some interesting facts about Dave. He is too modest to tell you these things so I’ll brag for him… Dave and his wife Sarah owned a successful kayaking guide service in Florida for several years. During this time they would take their time off to paddle dozens of remote waterways across Canada and the northern U.S. Eventually paddling the Mississippi River, the Yukon River and the Yangtze River source-to-sea. They also paddled a kayak from Washington State up the inside passage to Alaska. And now you can find Dave rowing his rafts down the world-class rivers of Alaska’s Mat-Su Valley.
