Each summer we are excited to hold our “Women on the Water” fly fishing workshop. This is a two-day event held at our headquarters in Willow, Alaska.
Day 1- We discuss fly fishing fundamentals. We cover knots, reading and understanding the water, casting techniques with guided practice, and we finish the day learning to tie flies. This year we are happy to announce that Author Kelly Pinnell will be be joining us and teaching us the finer points of reading the river.
Day 2- we will float approximately 10 miles through world class trout waters with our professional guides and put our knowledge and training to the test, as well as our new flies.
This program has been popular and we’ve had nothing but positive responses from our participants. In fact, we’ve had multiple repeat clients and gained some new friends. This is one of our favorite events of the entire year and we’re excited that it keeps growing and improving. Come join us and join some other ladies that have common interests in the outdoors.
