The types of infrastructure that are included in dilapidation surveys can pretty much be anything. Anything that's within the boundaries or within a minimum of 50 meters of any large construction project.
The first steps that we would take to make sure that reports are going to be comprehensive, make sure that we've captured all of the defects or any potential defects that may occur really starts with the training of our Land Surveys employees.
And they're also given a full list of defects that we would want captured or defects that the client would want captured. That's fully explained to them as well. So they really understand what is it that we're capturing, why are we capturing that?
They then put that together in their report. They would go through, they would have a look at the defects, the photos of the defects, and then just make sure that the defect assigned to it is correct.
We can provide geo settings as well. So not only will the client have a complete live walkthrough of a certain area we can also provide the KMZ files so that will pinpoint exactly where that asset is street signs, or trees, even down to benches.
So to ensure that we don't disrupt anyone, whether that be the tenant or if we're capturing roads, anything like that a specific appointment time is always set, whether that means carrying out after hours or weekends, especially for educational properties, then we always like to do out-of-hours.
Again, that helps with privacy as well.
