Ice Hockey/アイスホッケー (Famicom Disk System, 1988, Nintendo/Pax Softnica/Hideki Konno/Narumi Nakajima)
This is Ice Hockey/アイスホッケー for the Famicom Disk System, you control a team of four hockey players as you put the puck into the hockey net goal. Don't let the other team score higher than you. Choose either the big guy as defense but slow, or the skinny and small guy to speed up to strike in a win. Don't go off the ring icing or start a fight which will cause a penalty resulting in an advantage depending on who started it first. When the time reaches 0 it's an intermission time or the halftime cleans the ice before the next period starts. Once you manage to win the game ends. You can choose the speed and time to rake up the difficulty. This is a fun game although I've never played hockey in my life before. However, fight felt funny as the moment something random happens, it gets out of control. This game is now 38 years old in Japan while in America it was released two months later the same year. So Happy 38th Anniversary to this icy sports game.
