Having practiced Nippon Kempo since childhood, Otsuka is a talented wrestler who has won the All Japan and World Championships. He was scouted by Jinsei Nizaki and joined Michinoku Pro Wrestling. He competed in NOAH under Michinoku in January 2014 and joined the company in March 2015. He initially excelled in the junior division, winning the GHC Junior Tag Team Championship, but announced his move to the heavyweight division at the end of 2016. He won his first Global League title in 2017 and was crowned the GHC Heavyweight Champion in December of the same year. In 2019, he formed the rebellious group "Kongo" with others dissatisfied with NOAH's new structure. They expanded their influence as a central unit in NOAH rivalries, but in June 2023, at their 15th anniversary tournament, they suddenly announced their disbandment, stating, "If we seek stability, there will be no evolution!" Kongo disbanded, and its members decided to go their separate ways, with strong convictions.
His fighting style is fierce, centered on striking techniques using Nippon Kempo, but he also possesses a variety of finishing moves, including the P.F.S. (Professional Foot Stamp), dragon suplex, ankle hold, and sleeper hold.
With his powerful communication skills, such as his column in Weekly Pro Wrestling and his YouTube channel "Kenoh Channel," he is also regarded as an opinion leader driving NOAH itself. Because of his communication skills, he is often at the forefront of rivalry with other organizations. Despite his condescending tone, such as calling fans "damn bastards," he enjoys strong support.
