WMI Plus At Home Mattias Thedens and Devon Leger
Mattias Thedens is a Norwegian arranger, researcher, bandleader, dancer, and master fiddler. Born into a musical family, Thedens was raised on American and Norwegian folk music from an early age. As a fiddler, he’s been performing old-time American and Norwegian folk music since childhood and is fluent with both the standard fiddle and Norway’s unique Hardingfele. He is joined in conversation by music journalist and Acadian fiddle player Devon Léger.
