Day by Day - Loossemble (2000s Pop Punk Cover)
What even happened? Apparently I went into hibernation for a year and LOONA is now two(?) different(?) groups(?)? I'm not even going to pretend I'm caught up, but thanks to a comment on another video for this suggestion.
Here comes the nerdy bit. This is probably my favorite mix so far out of all the songs I've done, maybe tied with 'Tail', but that one definitely wins out on arrangement. Feels like a result of the combination of new techniques and streamlining my approach to getting things to sit right in the song.
The vocals was extracted with some AI tool I found online. Sounded really convincing on verses but is a bit scuffed through the choruses but I don't think it was too distracting.
I also got an electric piano! It's great. Total game changer when it comes to writing original stuff but it does help a lot with putting down drum and synth parts.
Filming is still my least favorite bit out of the entire process. I'm forever searching for simpler setups for these videos and still haven't found one I feel like I can use forever, but I feel like I'm getting there.
Anyway, I've heard other youtubers refer to this thing called an "upload schedule" does anyone know what that is?
