Welp. Now's a good a time as any to share a little bit about how I work. Typically, I wait until a particular song hits me in some way or inspires a cool musical idea. This video was a bit difficult for me, not because the song is particularly hard, but because the only thing I had going on was the fact that I wanted to try composing an orchestral bit. Between 'Love Cherry Motion' and this song, I must have scrapped something in the neighborhood of 5 potential song covers. Mostly because I couldn't bring anything new to the table.
Ultimately, these videos are vehicles for me to try out new equipment, production techniques, or pursue some sort of musical goal. That's why I don't make a whole of these. That said, feel free to recommend me songs to consider!
I'm not exactly trying to establish a LOONA cover channel, but Orbits are so nice. So this one is mostly for you all. I don't think my next video will be another LOONA cover, but maybe we'll meet again in the future.
P.S. Yes, the drums are indeed programmed. I can't record acoustic drums where I live now, so this will have to do. I tried to replicate what I would have wanted to play, though :P
