I want one like Barto merchandise, so I made myself one. Ended up making a few. Luffy senpai from One Piece! He's so cute. My sunshine!
Had no intention to record this at first, that's why no footage when I was kneading and shaping the clay. So it started with a clay which ready to be painted over. Is it safe to say that this video is not a tutorial? Hehe
For a better coverage, the clay usually needs several coats of paints. If it has one color, I usually coated it with 3-4 layers of paint.
Working with air dry clay is quite time consuming, I'd say. It usually needs 7 days until glazing dry out. More than 7 days to wait until the smell of the glazing material become odorless. So it's better to make them in a big batch.
It's fun though to mold everything and make something to be in the palm of your hand!
