Make a simple adjustable power supply LM317
This video shows how to use the LM317 adjustable voltage regulator to make a simple adjustable power supply using just 3 components. The LM317, a 10k pot and a 180 ohm resistor. Optionally you can add a ceramic capacitor on the input and electrolytic capacitor on the output to smooth out any current ripples.
I show you how to crete the circuit on a breadboard and then show the simple adjustable voltage reulgator circuit placed on a homemade PCB, ready to be mounted inside a project box with banana input/output sockets.
