One-side parking - Garage?
One-side parking ordinances are generally intended to provide temporary come-and-go residential parking.
But in reality, many streets that allow one-side parking are actually full of abandoned or broken vehicles, commercial trucks or jeeps.
The road essentially becomes a free long-term garage, rather than the intended residential purpose.
Alternating one-side parking ordinances are often a bit more successful, because at least broken and unused vehicles can be towed if they're not moved in time.
