HealthGuard AI: Agentic AI for Predictive Healthcare | MumbaiHacks 2025 Project
Presenting HealthGuard AI, our project for the MumbaiHacks 2025 hackathon.
HealthGuard AI is an agentic AI system designed to solve the critical challenge of unpredictable patient surges in Indian hospitals during festivals, pollution spikes, and epidemics. Our solution moves beyond simple prediction to autonomous action, creating a proactive "healthcare OS" for crisis management.
How it Works: Our system uses a network of three collaborating AI agents: 🧠 The Surge Forecasting Agent: Predicts patient inflow using LSTMs on historical data, live pollution APIs, and festival calendars. 🤖 The Resource Optimizer Agent: Autonomously recommends optimal staffing, bed allocation, and supply levels based on the forecast. 📢 The Preventive Advisory Agent: Generates and sends personalized, multilingual health advisories to the public via a web portal.
This project demonstrates a practical application of multi-agent systems to solve a real-world problem in healthcare operations, grounded in peer-reviewed scientific research.
