“What’s your expected salary range?” I know that for a lot of you, that particular question and salary discussions in general make you really uncomfortable. But your expected salary range is something you must be prepared to talk about as you apply for jobs.

At some point in your career, you will be asked that question. And in some cases, recruiters might not let you move forward to the interview phase until you share a number or a range. In this video, I'm going to elaborate on how I prepare to name my expected salary, how I research salaries, and how I (politely!) ask other people about their salaries.
