Today, we delve into the stories of two women whose disappearances have left families and communities searching for answers—Ashley Loring HeavyRunner from the Blackfeet Nation and Kristyn Sue Richerson from Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Ashley, a vibrant 20-year-old from the Blackfeet Reservation, disappeared in June 2017. Her case is emblematic of the crisis faced by Indigenous communities, where disappearances are often overlooked.
Our second case is Kristyn Sue Richerson, who vanished in 2018 from Muskogee, Oklahoma. Kristyn was last seen at her home, preparing for Rocklahoma. Her roommates’ conflicting statements, use of her belongings, and suspicious behavior add layers to this troubling case.
