King's Quest VI: Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow Speedrun FLOPPY VERSION (
This version of King's Quest VI: Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow was released for DOS before the CD version was completed. The menu color palette reminds me of the Amiga version. This version has the amateur voice acting in the opening cutscene and no voice acting during the game.
The floppy version contains a glitch that allows you to climb the cliffs while the steps are coming out of the mountain for the last four cliff puzzles. It's kind of hard though so I only got two out of four in this run and just went with it.
This run could probably go down to sub 12 minutes. Right now, almost all the runs are on the CD version so this is the 2nd world record for this category after ChuckGrody's initial run. -- Watch live at / danzel_glovington
