ETM partner school students perform "La Bamba" at the Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC)
On June 5, 2024 students from ETM partner school St. Brigid St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Academy in Brooklyn performed on the Lobby Stage of the Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC). Here they are singing "La Bamba," with their ETM teacher accompanying them on guitar.
Founded in 1991, Education Through Music (ETM) is a nonprofit organization that has provided over 8 million hours of music education in NYC public schools. ETM promotes the use of music as a means of enhancing students' academic performance and general development. By providing year-long, in-school music education programs with a dedicated staff of teachers and support management, ETM makes music education a reality for thousands of underserved children who would otherwise have limited or no exposure to music instruction at school.
