A hidden gem of design education at Kansas State University - Imagine a place
OFS and Carolina have been collaborating with KSU’s Interior Architecture and Product Design program for years, and now we’re excited to tell the story of this unique place.
During the making of this story, we spoke with Neal Hubbell, the program’s director of graduate studies and an associate professor, he told us: “I actually like to think of us as one of the best-kept secrets in design education in the United States." We couldn't agree more!
By focusing on students and craft, KSU Interior Architecture and Product Design Program is turning out some of the industry’s top graduates.
Based on a foundation of making and the vital relationship between students and mentors, the IAPD program continues to challenge assumptions and equip a new generation of designers.
