Lionsong is injured in battle, his parents are getting cat-divorced, and his Clan is facing a difficult leadership change. In times of trouble, his friends assure him that they will always stand by him.

Something small I worked on in the midst of bigger projects - I was feeling a little overwhelmed and creatively burnt out, so I wanted to make something simpler, and comforting.
I hope this is reassuring to anyone else struggling a bit in their personal lives and/or with current events. The year has certainly had its ups and downs!

For anyone unfamiliar, these characters are part of a larger story in multiple videos of mine ( • Lionsong & Hooktail (all, upload order) ). Hooktail and Lionsong are from different Clans, but good friends through their shared (unrequited) love for their friend Dancingwish.
Spiderbriar and Luckystep are from Lionsong’s Clan, and they are friends of his - only featured briefly in the “Trouble Is” PMV, this is their more detailed debut.
The premise of this AMV, is that Hooktail (a mediator) has come to visit the injured Lionsong, invited and escorted by his clanmate friends Spiderbriar and Luckystep.

• Lionsong: (Injured) light brown cat with yellow eyes
• Hooktail: Large & fluffy brown cat with blue eyes
• Spiderbriar: Fluffy black cat with brown freckles & markings, and green eyes
• Luckystep: Calico cat with tall ears and obscured eyes
For the big scenes, in order of appearance, from left to right, top to bottom:
• Big Scene 1 (intro) … Dovestar (new leader of Lionsong’s Clan), Cherrynight (Spiderbriar’s dad), Quietfog (Lionsong’s granddad), Lionsong, Fawnstep (Lionsong’s mom), and Duskhaze (Lionsong’s dad)
• Big Scene 2 (0:26) … all familiar faces except Candy (clanmate - black cat with blue ribbon, heterochromia, & white markings) and Wrentail (Lionsong’s grandma - light brown cat that Candy is looking towards)
