Since the start of this year, I've been working on a personal game project codenamed Project Asteroids! You're tasked to resolve a dire threat to the universe by any means necessary. I've focused on player freedom and problem-solving and resisted the urge to make it hold your hand too much. Exploration is a key part of the game, and you'll find it rewarding to uncover whatever details you can find about the game's world.
By release, I'm planning for the core game to take around an hour or so to complete. I'm hoping to release it this year, hopefully with a solid date within the next 3 months. As it's a small personal project, I'm currently only planning to release it on itch.io, but if it generates a decent bit of interest, I'll consider other platforms as well.
The easiest way to find out when the game is out is to subscribe to this YouTube channel if you aren't already! I'll be posting here when the game has a release date, and when it's out, and maybe more updates on the way.
I'm also gonna try to post GIFs and other smaller things on Instagram for those interested.
