An exposed colony rescued
This is a dilapidated rowhouse being renovated and a colony of bees was discovered in a rotten bathroom ceiling. Not terribly difficult, but every removal has its challenges. Nest was quite spread out for a 3rd season colony. Decent amount of honey left over from winter and an impressive brood nest was recovered. 1 full deep of brood comb and 1 medium of large cell comb was framed up and provided back to the bees.
