INTERVIEW: Cory Sheldon - Filmmaker, VFX Artist & Designer
CORY SHELDON is a Filmmaker and VFX artist, Designer, Author, and Professor. After graduating with an industrial design degree, he spent several years designing tires, directing films, writing a fiction series, and co-founding The Nightlight—an arthouse movie theater in his hometown of Akron, Ohio. Much of Cory’s film work involves animation, visual effects, and experimental editing techniques. His clients range from Warner Bros. Music to local startups like Crafty Mart and international non-profits such as COPE (Laos). He has taught film, design, and animation for over a decade, currently at Tri-C.
