I had just finished my K-pop performance in front of thousands of crazed fans. When I returned to my trailer, I found a strange wedding cake waiting for me. What was this doing here?! Suddenly, a guy jumped out of it and ran towards me!

"Marry me, Lisa!"

"I don't even know you!"

I flipped the guy over and pinned him down. It was a piece of cake for me. I was also a Taekwondo champion. Then the security guards came running up along with my parents.

"Lisa!" Are your vocal cords okay?! Did you damage them?!

"Mah! Jueltameh! My vocal cords are fine! And so is the rest of my body, if you're interested."

"How long did it take you to reduce it? It had better not be more than 5 seconds. Otherwise, I'll have to train you harder. Taekwondo is all about speed, you know."

I rolled my eyes at my parents. Sometimes they were unbelievable.

"Hi, my name is Lisa, and I'm from South Korea. You might think that being a K-pop star and a Taekwondo champion at the same time must be a dream. But for me, it was literally a nightmare. Because of my parents, I had to juggle these completely different lifestyles, and it was exhausting.

I even had to give a Vogue interview once in the middle of a fight!" For many years I managed to survive this business of juggling two lives, but when I turned sixteen, things started to get to me.

Almost the only time I truly felt at peace was studying my favorite subject at school—science. One day I was working on this brilliant new invention that would filter water for those in need, when Mom burst through the door.

"Lisa! You have a photo shoot in ten minutes. Come on! The helicopter is waiting for you."

"Here we go again."

"Mom! You can't just barge in here like that."

I was interrupted by Dad, who jumped out the window, just like Spider-Man!

"Lisa, a sports magazine wants to interview you RIGHT NOW. Let's go!"

And to make matters worse, the paparazzi showed up!
