(UPDATED)Risk of Rain 2 - Solo Monsoon - False Son
Yeah, so I decided to only do these three updated survivors as they had huge changes to their characters. For this updated series, I'm going to give them their alternate abilities instead of reusing the old abilities just to showcase their gameplay. For Eclipse 8, I'm going to use the abilities I prefer. False Son is False Son. He is OP like he always was. His alternate abilities are cool, and the animations are a bit better. I really enjoy the potential of Lunar Stakes. They sorta suck early on with that cooldown and only having 2 stocks instead of 4, but this is made up by each stock counting as 2 stacks of Lunar Tampering so if you have two stocks your getting 4 stacks of Lunar Tampering like you would with the default secondary. Furthermore, it has amazing synergy with his alternate special as it refunds 50% of your total stocks when used so you can spam this with enough Growth. I think his alternate utility is a bit to get use to, but he does gain TRIPLE the amount of stats from his Lunar Tampering, even for 4 seconds, that's insane. Overall not much has changed with my opinion on false son. You can run him with Laser of the Father or Laser Burst and he will still be strong.
