Speaker Biography: Dr. Wu is an Associate professor in Pathology, as well Vice Director of Clinical Laboratory Medicine Center at the Shanghai General Hospital which is affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University. He is also a Youth member of Chinese Society of Laboratory Medicine, as well as a Member of Shanghai Medical Association, Molecular Diagnostics Branch, and a Member of Chinese Expert Committee of Experimental Medicine, Pathology Branch.

Webinar Abstract: Since the outbreak of CoVID-19 in Wuhan, China last December, the medical professional community have accumulated numerous experience that potentially will benefit other regions battling the disease. This session covers epidemiology and biology of SARS-CoV-2, nucleic acid and immunologic tests for SARS-CoV-2, and discharge criteria for recovered patients.
