Upon interacting with the door, you’ll enter a dream-like sequence that will see Freya reliving the death of her son, Baldur.
Before too long, you'll be overrun by a group of Legion; we found the Blade of Chaos' light attacks to be the best here, as they helped keep the creatures at bay.
Once you’ve defeated all of the Legion, you’ll enter a scene with Mimir, where you’ll need to free him from the tree, but Sigrun will stop you. While you won’t need to defeat the entire onslaught of Reavers, Exploding Nightmares, and Hel-Revenants, you will need to last for quite some time, so we recommend using Kratos’ rage if you’re running low on health.
God of War Ragnarok's ninth chapter, The Word of Fate, places the player in Kratos' shoes once again. Tensions are high since Atreus' disappearance, but Kratos has come up with a plan to fix things. Though Freya advises him against it, he sets off to Midgard in search of the Norns.
After the next cutscene, Kratos and Freya will experience a vision of Baldur's death. Once it ends, a hoard of Legion will attack, but they are easily vanquished by tapping R1 repeatedly to perform Light Attacks. Since they're slow to attack, this method will interrupt them before they get the chance to.
