The Runaway is the seventh main quest you’ll embark on in God of War Ragnarok. This walkthrough guide will offer tips for conquering enemies and defeating challenging bosses, solutions to every puzzle, and locations of all collectibles that Atreus will encounter along his journey through Midgard, after running away from Sindri’s house following his confrontation with Kratos.
Atreus is one of the main characters in God of War Ragnarok following the revelation in God of War (2018) that his mother had intended on calling him Loki, and that a prophecy was foretold about him. In between the events of God of War and Ragnarok, Atreus learns all he can about who he is supposed to become, leading to an epic journey that many players enjoyed in this franchise's latest installment.
There are a lot of great moments in God of War Ragnarok that revolve around Atreus. Portions of the game that allow players to control the young half-god especially show how much he has developed in a few short years, proving to be one of the best arcs in the entire series.
After a brief bout of miscommunication, God of War Ragnarok will place us back in the shoes of Atreus as he ventures forth in an attempt to avert the inevitable. The Runaway quest line will encompass Atreus' journey from the frozen wasteland that is Midgard all the way to the picturesque Asgard.
