cool world is a masterpiece
Cool world is a nightmare that I can't wake up from.
I saw this movie like a year ago and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it... Why did paramount hire Ralph Bashki to make a PG13 movie? Why did Kim Bassinger think she could show this movie to kids in hospitals? Why are Brad Pitt's eyes so vacant? And most importantly: why is every character and object so horny?
Join me as I desperatly try to cling to any semblence of sanity I have yet as I throw vague psychoanalytic theory at this stupid movie from the 90's trying to answer the question: WHY CANT HUMAN F*CK CARTOONS?
(Also yeah, the title should be "Is Cool World a Psychoanalytic Masterpiece" because I don't actually mention Freud at all, but i mean, you gotta admit "Freudian" has a better ring than "Psychoanalytic")
