Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-Atlas) from 01-22 August 2024 STEREO HI-1A
Bright comet Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-Atlas) entered the field of view of the STEREO Ahead spacecraft's heliospheric imager on August 1 and left the field of view on August 22, 2024. At present, it is very difficult if not impossible to image the comet from the Earth as it is in deep twilight.
It will appear in the morning sky by mid September, just before sunrise. It will sink into the twilight after this and re-appear as an evening object in mid-October. It may become a naked eye object (magnitude 2) in October.
