Birthday Cupcakes How To Make
I'm so excited to celebrate Independence Day this year, we are going to be surrounded by great neighbors, friends, family, food, and fireworks. I imagine this year that the country would like a cupcake birthday, so I'm making this easy recipe with lots of sprinkles.
Ingredients
For the birthday cake cupcakes:
1/4 cup neutral oil (like canola or grapeseed)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg white
2 tablespoons sour cream
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
big pinch of salt
2 tablespoons of sprinkles
For the frosting:
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1-2 tablespoons heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon sprinkles, plus extra for decorating
