I just checked to see if the issue had magically gone away—it didn't. I haven't been driving my car since the problem started.
The issue:
I have a late 2020 Tesla Model 3 Long Range.
Today, after exiting the car after picking up my son from school, I tried closing the door as normal. The door bounced back at me, and I saw the screen flickering, then turning black, then flickering again while the driver's side window began to go up and down nonstop.
I opened the app and vented the windows, and luckily, that worked, and I was able to close the door. The window glass damaged the window trimmer. I will be making a Tesla service call.
